Job Description We are a leading manufacturer of bespoke specialist liquid containment and distribution equipment for Emergency Aid and construction/civil engineering projects.
We are looking for a Production Technician, preferably with an interest in engineering or in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate must be capable of working on own initiative and as part of a team, ideally you should be able to read technical drawings to produce 1 off or small batch products, although full training will be given. The work is practical – fabricating products from sheet rubbers and plastics. The ideal candidate must be a good time keeper, energetic, reliable, efficient and be capable of working accurately to instructions with no “cutting corners”. You should be flexible as overtime is sometimes required to meet the needs of the business. You will also assist with general shopfloor tasks, including packaging and palletising materials. The work involves some heavy lifting and floor work. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in practical, “hands on” work for a company who invests in the future of its staff.
